Dugal, our dog, has been sick the last day or so. I really don’t like it when he is sick. He’s been running a high temperature, so he’s been a bit lethargic and not his usual self.
We did take him to the vet today and they put him on some antibiotics and anti-nausea medicine. Hopefully, he’ll feel better soon. When you are used to a happy, lovable little dog running around you 24/7, when he is not feeling well it feels a bit lonely.
Anyway, he is showing signs of feeling a bit better, but I had to sit down and do a little random sketching exercise to relax a little before bed. It’s just some random jar idea that was floating around in my head. Looks like fingernail polish.
I finally decided to get away from my laptop and get an iPod touch. I then downloaded the “brushes” app and the wordpress app. We will see what happens from here, eh? This is my fist little drawing on the iPod touch.
I didn’t do a whole lot of drawing this last week, but here are the few I did. Mainly, I just tried to capture a few things that caught my eye when I had my pencil ready. I used to try to put together a whole composition on each sketch book page, but I ended up not doing any drawing at all when I did it that way. Much better to just draw what you see no matter how it turns out than not draw anything.
