I am on one of my simplify life kicks as of late. I installed rope lights today in the bedroom so I could get rid of a few really dumb lamps that have been floating around the house in various states of disrepair. Yesterday I went through about 500 cds (blank, recorded and with/without jewel cases) that I never had found homes for and put them in some nice new storage totes. Mostly they were sitting around on spindles getting scratched up.
Last week it was a closet that became a creative nook of the household. Art supplies, my guitar and some journals all work well in that closet.
Maybe it’s the new year. Maybe it’s a life thing. I am getting so frustrated with carrying around this crazy baggage that really should have found new homes by now. Once I get a few more storage totes for the rest of the cds, I am going to go through the filing cabinet.
