Today has been an interesting day. I’ve embarked on some new blog projects with a friend (not yet to be named). Some of these projects are potentially big deals and could be pretty good investments of time and energy, but most of all they promise to be fun.

So I spent some time today on putting together a business card for my wife. I erased the phone number for presentation here, but I am pretty pleased with the outcome.

I am getting my first set of limited edition art cards printed and they should arrive here in the next few days. This will be series AA1 and I am looking for creative methods of distribution.
I intend for these business card formatted art cards to be a personal experience for the giver and for the person receiving them, so this isn’t just laying them around on a shelf somewhere so people can grab a handful. Check out the Art Card FAQs Page here to find out more about what makes my version of art cards different from others.
So, I want to know how you would distribute Art Cards, but don’t leave a comment here.

I look forward to seeing where everyone responds from and all the methods of giving these out that you all have.
Having a web gallery for any artist is a must. How to do it properly, that is a chore that I detest.
But check this out. The images are all oriented different but you will get the idea.

Awhile back I did a series of swirls, and recently decided I would incorporate some new concepts into the “business card art” stuff that I’ve been doing lately.
I’m still not clear on the distribution of these business card artcards, but I’ll figure that out soon enough I think.
This is another one of the business card abstracts that I have set to print out when I get a chance.
