The Written Words: am, born, bridge, divide, pride, see, free

I have often looked at different languages’ written words and wondered who and how they came up with that particular shape for a particular letter or word. I’ve set out on a personal creative journey to create an artistic expression of what the written word would look like if I was the designer.  I’ve played a bit with this concept before but never quite in this way.  My swirls of before never really were anything other than something interesting.  Now they have taken on a new life as I think about each word and try to pen what feelings come to mind in pen strokes when I think about that word.
